Studio Policies
Lessons:
Once the student signs up, lessons will be on the same day and at the same time every week. Lesson times are on a first come, first serve basis. If, for any reasons, lesson times need to change, please let me know as soon as possible so we can find a time that works in both of our schedules.
The last 3-5 minutes of your lesson can be used to discuss your progress or homework.
No eating during the lesson, only water.
Students have the responsibility to keep the classroom clean and DO NOT damage the property. Any damages will be charged.
No video recording or picture during the lesson without the teacher’s permission.
Billing:
It will require 2 lessons to deposit $___________ as we need 14-day notice cancellation. It will be deducted to the last 2 lessons once you inform the date of the last lesson.
Monthly payments will be due at the first lesson of each month. There will be a $20 late fee if the amount is not paid by the 2nd lesson of the month. Payments must be in the form of cash, check or e-payments such as Zelle / Paypal.
Cancellation Policy:
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel a lesson. Lessons cancelled with at least 24 hours notice will be credited to the next month. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will still be charged. Maintaining a consistent pattern of lessons is very important. Students that regularly cancel lessons may be subject to losing their time slot. If the student no longer wishes to continue to take lessons, there will need to be a 14-day advanced notice before the last lesson.
If students are feeling sick, please give us 6 hours notice.
No show, no make-up lessons, It will be charged.
Only offering make-up lessons within 30-day if there are some reasons for rescheduling.
Supplies:
The students will also be responsible for purchasing the books I recommend, they are expected to have the books in lessons.
CELLO ONLY- I will provide the Cello on the first trial lesson to use. The student will need to bring their own cello to lessons after signing up.
Practicing:
Practicing at home is just as important as the lessons. Students are expected to practice material covered in the lesson 10-30 minutes a day at home. Lesson time is not meant for practicing. Preparedness for lessons is conducive to steady progress.
